Privacy policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, account type, and (for funeral homes) studio name and logo.
• Memorial content: names, dates, places, obituary text, service details, family names and photos of your loved one.
• Family tree information: people, relationships, dates, places, biographies and photos, including files you import.
• Guestbook messages: the name and message a visitor submits on a memorial page.
• Planning information: checklist answers, worksheets, funeral wishes, documents in your private vault, and the names and emails of trusted contacts you add.
• Orders: the name, email, shipping address and personalised artwork for keepsake orders. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical data: such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To create, print and display the memorials, trees and plans you make.
• To make and ship keepsake orders and send order updates.
• To provide optional AI writing suggestions when you ask for them. Suggestions only appear in your content if you accept them.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and answer your questions.

We do not sell your information and do not show advertising.

Who can see your content

Drafts are visible only to you. Memorials and trees you share by link or make public can be viewed by anyone with access to that page. Guestbook messages appear publicly only after the memorial owner approves them. Planning information is visible only to you and trusted contacts you add, who get read-only access when they sign in with the email you listed.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the site: secure cloud hosting and storage, Stripe for payments, Printful to print and ship keepsakes, and an AI provider for optional writing help. They receive only what they need to do their part.

How we protect it

Photos, print files and vault documents are stored privately and shown only through short-lived secure links. Access rules in our database make sure people can only reach the content they're allowed to see.

Your choices

• Edit or delete memorials, trees, plans, guestbook messages and documents at any time.
• Change who can see a memorial or tree.
• Ask us for a copy of your information or to delete your account by emailing us.

If you'd like information about a person removed from a page someone else created, contact us and we'll help.

Children

Accounts are for adults 18 and older. Memorials and family trees may include information about children entered by their family.
